I TALKED, PEOPLE LISTENED
At the request of the conference organizers, I presented "What's the Story? What's My Part: Case Stodies in Interactive Marketing" at San Diego Interactive Day (June 2013). Prior to that I devised and led a panel at SXSW 2012 and advised on the development of multiple proposals for SXSW 2013, including my own on the evolution of Internet Humor.

"But Is It Art? The Aesthetics of Social Media" (SXSW Interactive)
I was thinking one day about Marshall McLuhan's famous adage, "The medium is the message," and how content would someday take a back seat to the channel that hosts it. This inspired my SXSW Interactive panel, which featured writer Dana Vachon and Jeffrey Schnapp, the faculty director of metaLAB (at) Harvard.
